Mechanical Cowl Flap Control System

STC # SA01091AT, by Aviation Enterprises
Our Mechanical Cowl Flap Control System Conversion eliminates the cowl flap motor which is very expensive to replace and or maintain.
Our system uses a state of the art T-handle control cable with locking mechanism to open and close the cowl flaps.
The cost is approximately the cost of our replacement motor and of course you don’t  have to worry about the motor failing or about the cost of continually replacing the motor, or having the airplane grounded while you are waiting for a replacement motor.

Instructions :
  1. When the cowl flaps are completely mechanically controlled, this improves the reliability of the system and reduces maintenance.
  2. Control, Operation information:  Rotate T-Handle 90º, Pull to Open, Push to Close, Return T-Handle to Original Position to lock.
  3. The Cowl flaps can be locked in any position from full open to closed.
